Jenny Manrique
International Journalism Network Freelance contributor
San Francisco
I am a freelance journalist based in San Francisco. Born in Colombia, my work has been published in outlets such as Los Angeles Times, Americas Quarterly, New America Media, IJNet, Revista Semana and several other publications in both English and Spanish. I write about innovation in journalism, immigration and mental health issues, and have covered elections in almost all Latinamerican countries. I am fascinated about the many ways in which the hispanic community is a driving force in the US and would like to learn and share ideas about how to improve the coverage of latinos. As a freelance, I am also interested in doing meaningful connections to work in future journalistic projects.
