In this 2-part highly interactive workshop, you will learn from media-savvy influencers on how to boost your blog’s or social platform’s media coverage, secrets to pitching media, on-air strategies, and much more. In the second part of the workshop, you’ll get to hear from major on-air and print media outlets on what they are looking for when working with influencers.

In this two-hour workshop, nine-time author, Kathy Cano-Murillo, will guide attendees through the process of putting together a non-fiction book proposal for the traditional publishing market . This workshop will begin with an introduction, do’s and don'ts and then a step-by-step process of brainstorming titles, subtitles, summaries, outline, and sample chapters. Other topics will be covered as well: pitching to an agent or editor, self-publishing vs. traditional, and more. Laptop required.
