Carlos Caban is a Deputy Editor with ESPN Digital & Print Media. He’s also part of the multicultural content unit, leading various ESPN content development initiatives for English-dominant and bilingual U.S. Hispanics, particularly bilingual millennials (billennials).

Prior to that Caban helped launch the ESPN FC Blog Network, hiring 40+ bloggers in Europe, U.S. and Latin America. Was part of core team involved in the planning, organizing and execution of ESPN’s global digital soccer initiative, ESPNFC.com for online, tablet and mobile.

For 11 years (2001-12), Carlos was Chief Editor (until 2006), then general managerial oversight of ESPNdeportes.com, leading Spanish-language sports site in US Hispanic and Latin America. Led website to sustained traffic and revenue growth as well as Top 3+ ranking among Spanish-language sports websites in various regions. Owned P&L management and set strategies for website’s success. Also ran online, mobile and related digital product development. Oversight of 45 full time employees in Bristol CT, Mexico City, Miami and Buenos Aires.
