As a first generation Colombian American, Christian Acosta infuses his Latin culture into everything he does. Growing up between Connecticut, South Florida and Medellin, Colombia, Christian considers himself born in the United States but made in Colombia.

Considered one of the hottest names to watch in the Latin music scene, Christian has been heavily influenced by his bi-cultural upbringing. People En Español declared Christian as being “On his way to taking over the spot of the male pop star” while Para Todos Magazine warns "Christian Acosta will continue surprising us with his brilliant and attractive pop music."

In addition to music, Christian has a wealth of television and hosting experience.

In 2013, Christian was tapped to host “mun2 pop” on NBC Universal’s mun2 network. The bilingual millennial show consisted of presenting the top music videos of the moment alongside energetic interviews with the biggest Latin artists in music around the world.

In 2014, Christian was selected to become Telemundo’s first fulltime digital host starting with the Telemundo and Mashable collaboration called “El Pulso via Mashable” - Christian can also be seen at the top events in music and entertainment hosting Telemundo’s red carpet coverage of the Latin Billboard Awards, Premios Tu Mundo, and iHeart Radio Fiesta Latina.

The ALMA Awards celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2014 by naming 15 ambassadors recognized for their impact in diversity and inclusion in American entertainment and media. Christian was honored as part of this coveted list of Latinos, which included Robert Rodriguez, Wilmer Valderrama, Daisy Fuentes, Michael Peña, and other major stars. That same year, Christian was named one of 8 singers selected for the coveted list of "Los Artistas Más HOT" by Para Todos magazine - alongside latin A-listers including Juanes, Jesse & Joy, El Dasa, and Leslie Grace.

As a cancer survivor Christian is an advocate for fellow survivors and patients fighting for their lives, from raising funds, to volunteering at hospitals around the world Christian feels blessed to have survived the disease and shares his story in hopes that it can inspire others. Christian splits his time between Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and Colombia focusing on singing, dancing, acting and hosting – a true multi-faceted Latino artist.
