Ricardo Velazquez serves as a Business Development Officer for Wells Fargo SBA Lending in South Florida. With more than 11 years as part of the nation’s #1 SBA lender by dollar volume, Velazquez successfully helps clients navigate through their loan approval and closing process.

Some of his areas of expertise include business start-ups, owner-user commercial real estate, business acquisitions, expansions, partner buyouts and construction financing. He specializes in owner occupied real estate financing for all industries.

Velazquez holds a Master’s of Science in Taxation and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida International University. He also holds a Certificate in Banking, a Certificate in International Bank Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Accounting and Audit from Florida International University.

He is fluent in Spanish and regularly speaks about small business financing in the community, as he uses his experience, interpersonal skills and analytical aptitude to help small businesses prosper.
