CafeMedia

One of Cindy's greatest successes was launching HuffPost's LatinoVoices in 2011 along with two awesome colleagues. Two years later, she left for CNN to become their Editor for Latino audiences responsible for producing culturally relevant content in English across the network. In 2015, she became an adjunct professor at Rutgers University teaching broadcast journalism. Also in that year, she helped with the launch of Vivala.com, a kick ass website aimed at young Latinas with a witty and savvy voice, as senior editor of lifestyle and culture.

She has freelanced for Voto Latino, New York Daily News, Cosmopolitan for Latinas, Eighty and Latina magazine covering all things race, culture, and politics. Her journalism career has also included production work for NBC, public relations for the NFL, event coordination forMediaBistro.com, and online production for American Express publishing.

There are, of course, the routine – running, traveling to Peru, and photography.
