Fernando Peinado is a political reporter at the expanding digital operation of Univision, where he started working in May 2016. He has worked for some renowned news organizations, such as BBC, AP, Reuters, El País and The Miami Herald. Peinado started his career at two local radio stations in Seville, the city in Southern Spain where he was born and raised. He holds a BA degree in Journalism and a Juris Doctorate from Universidad de Sevilla, a Master’s in International Affairs with a specialization in media from Columbia University, and a Master’s in Journalism from the School of Journalism El País/UAM.
Peinado has worked, studied or volunteered in nine different countries -Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Syria, Israel/Palestine, Argentina, Colombia and the United States-.
