Rick Parra is Director of Retail at the Multicultural Growth and Strategy Center of Excellence at Nielsen. He leads Nielsen’s efforts in providing growth and strategy solutions for the multicultural landscape among retailers. Rick has over 25 years’ experience with Nielsen covering assignments in Colombia, Mexico and Latin America in the areas of Client Service, Marketing, Product Leadership, and Retail Services. Rick was instrumental in leading efforts to develop both scanning based services in Latin America, and retailer centric products. He was Retail director for Latin America region overseeing a portfolio of over 100 retailers in that region.  Rick is Colombian, bilingual and bicultural, with degrees in Business Administration and Latin American studies from the University of Florida.
