​In April 2012, John joined Kimberly-Clark as Vice President, North America Rolled Products (COTTONELLE, SCOTT & VIVA Brands), in Neenah, WI.  Since joining John has helped the North America Family Care business to achieve record strong financial results while contributing to the organization via leadership of the Build for Success Keep it Simple work stream, as sponsor of the new employee resource group Capabilities First, and as the chair of the United Way KCNA Fox Cities where the campaign surpassed the 2013 and 2014 goals, hitting record high dollar contributions.  John transitioned in June 2014 to a new role within Kimberly-Clark as Vice President, Global Marketing.  In this role John assumed leadership of areas such as Global Marketing Competency (including the Global Competency Model and Global Marketing University), Global Marketing Operations, Global Consumer Services, North America Promotions and Multicultural Marketing.  These areas are critical to advance in the journey toward being legendary brand builders winning locally.
John joined Kimberly-Clark after 21 years with SC Johnson.  At SC Johnson he served in a variety of leadership roles, including reporting to the Chairman and CEO as Director, Global Brand Equity, responsible for the brand equity standards globally as well as global brand licensing and global category teams.   Prior to this role, John had diverse leadership experiences as the North America Director of Pest Control (RAID,OFF!), team lead of the TARGET Sales Team, Marketing Director of Japan SC Johnson, Brand Director of GLADE Candles, Brand Director of WINDEX and various brand assignments.    John was the first member of the SC Johnson Undergraduate Marketing program.
John is active with many charitable activities such as serving as the Vice Chairman of the board of the Wisconsin Special Olympics.  He is passionate about helping individuals with special needs, having founded the Parents of Special Needs Children support group at SC Johnson and Capabilities First at K-C.  He is also a passionate supporter of Cornell University, having led and sponsored recruiting efforts for many years.  John has been a guest lecturer and frequent interviewer at Cornell, past president of the Cornell Club of Minnesota, member of the Cornell University Council 2007-2011 and was named to the Cornell University Dyson School Undergraduate Business Council in 2009 and is now an emeritus council member.
John graduated from Cornell University in1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree, with Distinction, in Applied Economics with a Food Industry Marketing concentration.  John enjoys racquetball, golf, cycling and curling, as well as wine collecting, nature photography, spending time at the lake and Japanese wood-block prints.
