Colombian-American journalist, record/artist promoter.  Official reporter for www.LatinGRAMMY.com Founder of www.boomonline.com in 1996.  Author of the book "El Quijote De La Musica". An interplay of issues, a love of music, and the desire to be an informer, brought Kike Posada (03/26/1968) to the world of entertainment. Posada was selected “an influential personality in the realm of music for the 21st century” by The Miami Herald. He also received the ASCAP Ampt award for his support to Latin music and the prestigious Orquidea Award as a Colombian journalist. This is due to his extensive professional experiences as a reporter and a disc jockey. As a music critic, member of The Latin Recording Academy (Latin Grammy,) journalist and radio & TV celebrity, Kike has filled in the public with the happenings of Latin music in the US since the early 90's. In the creation of the first radio program specialized in Latin alternative music in the United States, he opened the doors to a sound which was "hidden under the skeptic eye of many radio programmers but was supported by a million listeners (see Billboard Nov. 14/93.)"
