Marissa Rodriguez

Marissa Rodriguez is an editor, writer and strategic content development professional. In 2014, she founded the blogazine Modern Tejana, celebrating the food, culture and style of contemporary Latinas in Texas.

Rodriguez has also worked in the magazine industry for more than 10 years and has expertise in national, regional and community magazines and websites. Most recently she was the editorial director of the national publication Vista Magazine. There, Rodriguez directed content that focused on issues important to U.S. Latinas and reached 3.3 million readers across the country. She was also formerly an editor of Hispanic Magazine, interim editor of Qué Rica Vida and worked on PODER Magazine, Hispanic Enterprise Magazine, and others. She has also written for USA Today Hispanic Living, Todobebe.com, San Antonio Magazine and many others. She has a Master’s degree from the Missouri School of Journalism.
