Michelle Bella joined ESPN in 2009 as Vice President, Sales and Consumer Marketing of ESPN Deportes, ESPN’s Spanish-language network.  In her role, Ms. Bella is responsible for the creation and execution of consumer marketing campaigns and sales marketing initiatives for all of ESPN Deportes’ platforms, including ESPN Deportes Television, the ESPN Deportes Radio Network, ESPNDeportes.com, the owned and operated radio station in New York City WEPN1050 and ESPN Deportes La Revista – it’s magazine. 


Working out of ESPN’s New York City office, Ms. Bella is responsible for growing users and usage across each platform.  She oversees brand strategy, creative development, marketing production and media planning for all in-channel and off-channel campaigns - as well as the network’s Upfront, year-round B2B communications, its sales site and participation at industry events.     


With over 20 years of experience in the media industry, Ms. Bella started out at Communications Equity Associates (CEA) a cable brokerage firm.  She moved to the operator side of the business at Century Communications, a cable Multiple System Operator in 66 markets as Director of Public Affairs.  She later transitioned to media networks Univision Communications as VP Marketing and NBC Universal’s Telemundo Networks as SVP of Consumer Marketing and VP of Sales Marketing. 


She’s a member of industry organizations like Promax, CTAM, WICT and NAMIC.  She’s also a graduate of WICT’s prestigious Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.
