Born and raised in Mexico, where she worked as a human resources executive and university instructor, Silvia moved to California 15 years ago where she lives with her husband and two boys.

She founded Mama Latina Tips in April 2009, an award-winning Spanish-English blog, that provides information on topics of interest including food, parenting, travel, entertainment, wellness, and more. She is also a partner in Disneylandia Al Día, the first Spanish blog focused on the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA.

Silvia has worked with a variety of major brands including Target, Disney, General Mills, NFRA, Ziploc, Clorox, Bumble Bee, Fisher-Price, Lowe’s, Kraft, and ConAgra, among many others. She also has been named a Top Bloguera by LATISM, and a Top Parenting Blogger by Latina Magazine.

Silvia is proud to be one of the few bilingual mom bloggers in the United States and she has spoken at top blogger conferences including BlogHer, Hispanicize, and the We All Grow Summit.
